Fightful Select is reporting that All Elite Wrestling has renewed several deals for AEW referees that were previously on one-year contracts. It is said that some of the referees were halfway into those contracts.

While it’s unknown which referees were kept, there are “at least a couple.” Additionally, it was noted that several of the referees had their contracts end before they got renewed. They will likely be signed to more long-term deals in the future.

Some spots have been criticized as of late, including referees pushing shoulders up or pushing them down to the mat. This isn’t expected to continue.
