A huge debut could be coming at this weekend’s WWE Backlash pay-per-view event, set to take place on May 10 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Pwinsider Elite is reporting that former New Japan star Jeff Cobb is expected to start with WWE soon with some in the company speculating he will be at Backlash 2025.
While Cobb could appear at Backlash, the report clarifies that whether Cobb appears on-screen at the event remains to be seen.
WrestleVotes Radio has previously reported that there have been discussions about Cobb potentially skipping WWE NXT and going straight to the main roster.
Cobb is a former IWGP Tag Team and NEVER Openweight Champion. He also represented Guam at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens.
