Bryan Alvarez is reporting that several WWE main roster contracts are set to expire in the coming months.
On Thursday, it was revealed that Ilja Dragunov has departed WWE after his contract expired. Following the news, Alvarez told his subscribers on Twitter that Dragunov may not be the only WWE talent whose deal is coming to an end soon. He wrote,
“There are a few other main roster contracts of people who haven’t been on TV much coming due in October.”
As noted, the wrestlers whose contracts are reportedly expiring in October have not been used on WWE programming recently. However, he did not reveal the names of the talent involved, so it remains unclear which WWE Superstars could be approaching free agency.
With Dragunov now gone from the company and several other contracts potentially set to expire in October, more WWE departures could be on the horizon.
