Kazuchika Okada is expected to sign with AEW following his NJPW exit last month.

Fightful Select is reporting that Okada is heading to AEW and a deal was effectively reached within the last couple of weeks.

While there is no confirmation that the deal has been signed yet, AEW has been confident in signing Okada as far back as mid-January.

It’s unknown when Okada will debut for AEW, however, it will reportedly be after he fulfills his NJPW commitments.

AEW has been discussing creative ideas for Okada since January, and the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion could be debuting for Tony Khan’s promotion sooner than later.
