According to a report from Deadline, former WWE Superstar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been approached about hosting the Primetime Emmys that will be airing on NBC in September. As of this writing, The Rock is not expected to take the gig.
Additionally, it’s being reported that “The Great One” has also been considered to be the host of the 2022 Oscars.
Comedian Chris Rock has also been approached to host the Primetime Emmys this year, but he reportedly turned down the informal offer.
