Report – Brock Lesnar Expected To Return To WWE

Former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar may have announced his in-ring retirement, but a new report suggests that WWE isn’t completely ruling out another appearance from The Beast Incarnate.

Lesnar confirmed earlier this week during an appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” that he is retiring from active competition following his SummerSlam loss to Oba Femi. However, according to a report from WrestleVotes, there are still influential figures within WWE who believe Lesnar’s story with the company may not be over.

The report states that several “high-ranking officials” in WWE expect Lesnar to be involved in some capacity at WrestleMania 43, which is scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, marking the first WrestleMania ever held outside of North America.

Even if Lesnar doesn’t wrestle again, another possibility being discussed is having the former WWE and UFC Heavyweight Champion headline the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2027. One source told the outlet they “can’t envision Lesnar walking away before one final payday in Saudi Arabia,” suggesting that the company still sees value in featuring him during WrestleMania weekend.

This isn’t the first time Lesnar has stepped away from the business. Following his loss to Oba Femi at WrestleMania 42, Lesnar left his gloves in the ring in what many interpreted as a retirement tease. WWE also moved his profile to its alumni section shortly afterward. Although Lesnar declared himself retired after that defeat, reports indicated that the loss didn’t sit well with him, eventually leading to his return before officially announcing his retirement after SummerSlam 2026.

WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque also appeared unconvinced that fans have seen the last of Lesnar. During the SummerSlam 2026 post-show press conference, Levesque addressed the announcement by saying, “You know as well as I do, Brock does what Brock wants. So I would take what he said at face value, and let’s see.”

For now, Lesnar says his in-ring career is over, but if the latest report is accurate, WWE officials aren’t ready to completely close the book on one of the most dominant stars in company history.
