Report – Bobby Lashley’s AEW Debut Is Coming Very Soon, Plans Revealed

Bobby Lashley is coming to AEW.

As we’ve been reporting here on eWn, the former WWE Champion has reportedly already signed a contract with All Elite Wrestling. The deal was agreed upon several weeks ago.

While Lashley didn’t debut at WrestleDream on Saturday night as many fans had anticipated, he will be coming in over the next several weeks.

Fightful Select is reporting that The Almighty One was not backstage at the show. While AEW officials considered having Lashley debut on the pay-per-view event, they decided against it due to the fact that he would have likely attacked Swerve Strickland, which would have taken away from Bryan Danielson suffering his defeat to Jon Moxley. The belief in the company was that two beatdowns of hometown stars would not have gone over well.

Lashley will be aligned with MVP and Shelton Benjamin when he arrives in the very near future.
