Bayley is believed to have agreed to a new WWE contract, according to a new backstage update, although neither WWE nor Bayley has publicly confirmed the news.
False Finish is reporting that the former Women’s Champion had been expected to remain with the company despite recent questions about her future and rumors that her previous deal was nearing its end.
Sources reportedly believe Bayley has now signed and that The Role Model could take on a wider role within WWE beyond her TV appearances as an on-screen talent.
However, it remains unclear what those added responsibilities may involve.
Bayley has been absent since July, but WWE has already begun discussing creative plans for her return.
