Sky Italia will no longer be broadcasting shows from All Elite Wrestling, at least for the time being, it has been reported this week.

Sky has played host to AEW events in Italy since August 2020, with news of the change coming from AEW Italian Commentator Salvatore Torrisi.

Torrisi has a history of breaking news, as in 2021, he spoiled that a NWA Women’s Title match would be added to the Double or Nothing card before it was announced.

AEW has yet to host an event in Italy but is expanding out of North America, with events planned for the UK and Australia in 2025.

WWE will travel to Italy in March of next year to host an episode of RAW, their first TV taping in the country.
