Sheamus was laid out by The Bloodline during last week’s SmackDown so he can go get married to his fiancee this week.
On the show, Sheamus was defeated by Solo Sikoa and then was attacked by the two men as well as The Usos.
WWE later reported that Sheamus suffered a “non-displaced fracture” near his elbow in the attack, but this is for storyline purposes.
PW Insider reports that the injury angle is actually to give Sheamus time off to marry Isabella Revilla, who he got engaged to in July 2021.
Earlier this month, Drew McIntyre revealed that he will be serving as Best Man during the wedding.
