WWE has canceled its scheduled NXT TV taping for this evening in Tampa, Florida, at the Yuengling Center. Over the past few days, the company held several events at the venue, such as Friday NightSmackDown, Saturday Night’s Main Event XXXIX, NXT: Battleground 2025, and Monday Night RAW.

Instead, tonight’s episode of NXT will take place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer provided more details regarding the canceled NXT tapings.

As Meltzer mentioned, the decision to cancel tonight’s scheduled NXT taping was influenced by low ticket sales. WWE reportedly sold only 1,700 tickets for the canceled taping. Meltzer noted,

“They figured it would be better to have 200 people in that small building — it would be a lot better than running in a big building, and the optics wouldn’t look so good.”

Tonight’s episode of WWE NXT from the Performance Center will be broadcast live on The CW starting at 8:00 pm EST.
