Kevin Owens will not compete at WrestleMania 41 due to a neck injury he sustained earlier this year. The injury will keep him sidelined for the distant future.

Last week, there were reports about Owens undergoing neck surgery, but that was inaccurate.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is now reporting that Owens has not had any surgery, correcting their previous report from last week.

The WON mentions that initially, when they were informed Owens required neck fusion surgery, a date was provided, but that procedure did not take place.

The report also states that Randy Orton advised Owens to seek a second opinion from a surgeon with whom Orton had previously worked.

Back in 2015/2016, Orton was advised to have surgery but opted for a second opinion and was able to avoid the procedure.
