Wrestling veteran Raven is part of the Impact Wrestling Hall of Fame, but he doesn’t expect the same honor from WWE.

Raven was inducted into Impact’s Hall of Fame at their Bound for Glory event this year, joining stars including Sting, Kurt Angle, Gail Kim, and the Dudley Boyz.

During a virtual signing with K&S Wrestlefest, Raven said he wished he could have been a WWE World Champion, which did not happen.

“I would’ve liked to have been world champion in New York [WWE]. But you know, that’s a hell of a lot of politics.”

Raven added that ‘politics’ will likely keep him outside the WWE’s Hall of Fame.

“A lot of the heat’s my fault though because I had to be the smartest guy in the room. Even if I wasn’t, I had to act like I was so I burned my own bridges. I knew it back then but couldn’t help it.”

Raven also addressed his record number of WWF Hardcore Title reigns, believing he won far more than is officially recognized.
