Welcome to another eWrestlingNews Question of the Day!
We have an onslaught of pay-per-views coming this weekend, with the first in line being TNA Under Siege 2025. Check it out on TNA+ starting with a pre-show at 7:30pm and live coverage of the results presented to you through eWrestlingNews here when the time comes.
My question for you today is “Who do you think will win the matches at TNA Under Siege 2025?”
Remember to answer with your response in the comments below.
As far as my answer…
Singles Match for the TNA Knockouts World Championship: Masha Slamovich (c) vs. Victoria Crawford
It’s interesting to see Alicia Fox back in action again, but I can’t let that momentary “Hey, neat” mentality cloud my judgment. Masha Slamovich isn’t losing the title here. Frankly, I’m surprised Tessa Blanchard isn’t the champion right now, and I think that it’s still going to come back around to her being the one who beats Slamovich. It at least won’t be Crawford.
Singles Match: Tessa Blanchard (with Robert Stone) vs. Arianna Grace (with Santino Marella)
Speaking of Blanchard, she wins here unless the plan is to make Stone look like a fool and he’s the one to cost her, with Grace getting some kind of quick roll-up out of nowhere or whatever.
Singles Match (If Deaner Wins, He’ll Receive A New TNA Contract): Eddie Edwards vs. Cody Deaner
I always mince no words when it comes to how I only have been watching the pay-per-views and not Impact television episodes, so I’m not always up to date on everything going on. From my perspective, I have zero context on this feud. My guess is if a contract stipulation is in play, Cody Deaner wins. Otherwise, why do it?
Tag Team Match for the TNA World Tag Team Championship: The Nemeth Brothers (Nic Nemeth and Ryan Nemeth) (c) vs. Matt Hardy and Leon Slater
Jeff Hardy isn’t on this show because he’s not allowed to travel into the country due to his past legal issues, correct? With that in mind, Leon Slater isn’t going to win the titles back for The Hardy Boyz, nor will he be one half of the champions along with Matt to leave Jeff in the dust.
The Nemeth Brothers retain, and if they’re going to drop them back to Matt and Jeff, it’ll happen on US soil.
Tag Team Match for the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship: Ash by Elegance and Heather by Elegance (c) (with The Personal Concierge) vs. Spitfire (Dani Luna and Jody Threat)
These tag team titles are staying put where they are, too. I’m not always right about this kind of blanket statement, but 9 times out of 10, in any wrestling company, the belt doesn’t typically go back to the previous champions unless it’s pretty soon after they lose them. It’s odd for someone or a tag team to drop a belt, get a rematch, fail that, and then spend a few months trying again and again, ultimately to then win it back.
Singles Match: Mike Santana vs. A.J. Francis (with KC Navarro)
They’ve put enough wins into Mike Santana’s column that I would be shocked if he lost this. My guess is he’s the next real threat to the International Championship. A win over AJ Francis pushes him further toward that goal.
Singles Match for the TNA International Championship: Steve Maclin (c) vs. Matt Cardona
Another general rule of thumb I have when it comes to title predictions is that if someone is a brand new champion, more often than not, they don’t drop the title for at least a month or two. Much was put into building up Steve Maclin as the inaugural champion for this title. For him to feud with Eric Young afterward and then drop it to Matt Cardona feels odd. Cardona’s there to be a good challenger and a feasible opponent, but someone to lose to Cutler to help boost his reign.
Tag Team Match: Joe Hendry and Elijah vs. Trick Williams and Frankie Kazarian
This one is tough. The bigger story is what happens at WWE Battleground. If Hendry and Elijah win this, I’ll be thinking that the TNA World Championship changes hands at Battleground. On the other hand, if Williams and Kazarian win, especially if Kazarian is the one to get the pin on Hendry above all other scenarios, then I’m banking on Trick coming up short.
The more interesting scenario is Trick winning the title and this tag team match not factoring into it whatsoever, unless an injury angle happens to help excuse Hendry losing. Even still, that’s a stretch, as you’d have to then predict a TNA title will change hands on a WWE NXT event, and that it would be the top championship of all things, instead of a tag title or something.
My gut tells me Trick and Kazarian win this tag team match, and Trick loses at Battleground.
