Giulia is expected to join WWE after she helps STARDOM founder Rossy Ogawa with his new promotion, Marigold.

It was originally reported that Giulia will report to the WWE Performance Center in late June or early July and she will have her debut match at NXT Heatwave on July 7th. She was expected to compete for one of the NXT Women’s Championships at the event. She plans to keep her ring name, but there are no plans to retain her current theme music.

Dave Meltzer reported the following in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter: 

“Regarding Giulia, she is definitely not wrestling Roxanne Perez on the NXT show on 7/7 in Toronto. She and those in Japan (and one source in NXT) had denied the story from the beginning. She is injured and had surgery on her wrist and won’t be ready by that date. She is coming but not until later in the year. Perez vs. Lola Vice looks to be the match on that show.”
