Je’Von Evans suffered a nasty botch during this week’s episode of WWE RAW. The Young OG has built his reputation on his high-flying offense, but one spot involving The Vision went badly wrong, leaving Evans to take a hard landing.
Evans faced Bron Breakker in singles action after slapping him during a backstage segment and taking off when The Vision surrounded him. Once the match got underway, however, Evans managed to keep Breakker on the defensive with his speed and athleticism.
The situation eventually changed when The Vision interfered and swarmed Evans. Just as the faction began overwhelming him, Oba Femi’s music hit. Femi charged down to the ring, taking out members of the heel group and getting some payback in the process.
Femi and Evans then attempted to team up for a high-impact spot. Evans bounced off the ropes before Femi launched him toward the members of The Vision waiting at ringside.
However, Bron Breakker, Austin Theory, and Bronson Reed failed to catch Evans as he came crashing down. The Young OG landed hard, with his right shoulder and head taking the brunt of the fall.
Reed managed to get a hand on Evans, but he was unable to slow his momentum enough to properly catch him. The spot is a familiar one in wrestling, with the wrestlers on the receiving end normally expected to catch the high-flyer and cushion his landing.
