Next week’s episode of WWE NXT (airing August 27, 2024) was taped in advance at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida following the August 20th edition of NXT.
The following are SPOILERS of what transpired during these tapings, according to reports from folks in attendance.
Assuredly, there will be more segments and footage added to the show that are recorded backstage but didn’t air in front of the live crowd, so while the lineup below will have most of what we’ll see, be sure to tune in to the actual live coverage of WWE NXT next week for the full breakdown.
In any case, if you’d like to know most of what will happen prior to the episode’s airing, here is your final warning of the SPOILERS of the below results:
- Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Jacy Jayne, with Jazmyn Nyx) defeated Meta-Four (Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson) by pinfall.
- Karmen Petrovic defeated Izzi Dame by pinfall.
- Six-Person Mixed Tag Team Match: The D’Angelo Family (Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, Luca Crusifino & Adriana Rizzo w/ Tony D’Angelo) defeated No Quarter Catch Crew (Charlie Dempsey, Myles Borne & Wren Sinclair) by pinfall. Supposedly, two people in suits talked to Tony D’Angelo during the match.
- Wes Lee and Zachary Wentz had a face-off with security separating the two.
- Kelani Jordan called out Wendy Choo, who surprised Jordan with a surprise opponent for the NXT women’s North American champion, TNA Knockout Rosemary. Kelani Jordan defeated Rosemary by pinfall and was attacked by Wendy Choo after the match, who posed with the title.
- Brooks Jensen defeated Malik Blade by pinfall.
- Joe Coffey defeated Je’Von Evans by pinfall due in part to some interference from Mark Coffey.
- Joe Hendry held another concert. Ethan Page interrupted, followed by Ava, who announced that Trick Williams will be the special guest referee for their title match at NXT No Mercy. Williams pinned a fake pinfall for Hendry over Page (similar to what Oro Mensah had been doing recently) to end the show.
