Jacy Jayne is the new WWE Women’s United States Champion.
Last week, Tiffany Stratton agreed to give Jayne a shot at the Women’s United States Championship after Fatal Influence accepted a Women’s Tag Team Championship match against Stratton and Chelsea Green.
Stratton put her title on the line against Jayne on this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, with Green at ringside to support the champion. Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid were also in Jayne’s corner.
Late in the match, Green and Fatal Influence got into a confrontation at ringside. Stratton then climbed onto the ropes and took out both Henley and Reid before returning to the ring.
However, Jayne caught her with the Rolling Encore.
The move was enough to score the pinfall victory, making Jacy Jayne the new WWE Women’s United States Champion.
