A project about the life and career of ex-WWE CEO Vince McMahon is to go ahead in spite of the 77-year-old’s retirement last month.

On July 25, McMahon retired from his roles with WWE, a month after stepping down as CEO due to the ongoing investigation into alleged misconduct with employees.

Before McMahon’s retirement, it was reported that Netflix had dropped plans for a docuseries on him, with one source from the streaming service stating “That s**t’s out of here.”

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that WWE and Netflix are still collaborating on a project centered on the former Chairman, with Chris Smith as the Director.

There is no timeframe as to when the Netflix project will be released.
