WWE Superstar Natalya has said that the company asked her to dye her hair to avoid being compared to Beth Phoenix.

Natalya, one of WWE’s most veteran Superstars, debuted on the main roster in 2008, rocking red hair.

Responding to a fan’s then and now comparison photo, Natalya said WWE wanted her to ditch her blond hair.

“So many things about the picture on the left. I was asked to dye my hair red so I didn’t look like Beth Phoenix. I hated this color of hair on me! I didn’t have much?, so I got the outfit at Bebe Sport and glued on a bunch of crystals myself?‍♀️ The glowup has been real..sorta?”

Beth Phoenix debuted on WWE’s main roster in 2006 and had already held the Women’s Championship by the time Natalya debuted.
