Nasty! AEW Wrestler Bites The Foot Of His Opponent

The Death Riders added another underhanded moment to their growing list of antics, but this time, one of their members took things a step further by biting his opponent.

Will Ospreay teamed up with the newest member of the United Empire, Mike Bailey, to battle Death Riders members Claudio Castagnoli and Gabe Kidd. The two teams put on an intense tag team bout, with Castagnoli and Kidd seemingly holding an advantage thanks to their established chemistry.

However, Ospreay and Bailey managed to turn the tide during the match. At one point, Castagnoli created some separation by throwing Ospreay out of the ring. Bailey quickly responded by taking Castagnoli down with a Moonsault before kicking Kidd through the ropes.

Kidd then resorted to an unusual tactic to stop Bailey in his tracks. Knowing that Bailey wrestles barefoot to maximize his martial arts-based offense, Kidd grabbed his opponent’s foot and bit it.

Despite the Death Riders’ attempts to gain an advantage, Ospreay and Bailey ultimately secured the victory. In the closing moments, Castagnoli attempted to spin Ospreay around, but the AEW World Champion managed to escape his grasp and counter with a Styles Clash to score the deciding pinfall.

Following the victory, Ospreay turned his attention toward Jon Moxley, who was seated at the commentary desk ahead of their upcoming AEW World Championship match at All Out.

Ospreay addressed Moxley directly, thanking his upcoming opponent for being a leader who taught him while also being the person who helped break him. The AEW World Champion explained that his time with Moxley ultimately helped shape him into the wrestler and man he is today.

Moxley eventually entered the ring while Ospreay was still speaking. However, the confrontation quickly took another turn when Gabe Kidd attempted to blindside Ospreay with a sneak attack.

Kidd missed his target and nearly struck Moxley instead, giving Ospreay the opening he needed. The AEW World Champion caught Kidd with a vicious Hidden Blade, taking him down and sending a clear message to Moxley ahead of their title showdown.

With Ospreay and Moxley set to collide at AEW All Out, their latest confrontation added another layer to what has already become a deeply personal matchup.
