WWE reportedly made another round of staff cuts last week, this time affecting its social media and digital departments.
According to a report from Pwinsider, multiple backstage employees were released, with between two and four departures confirmed so far. The identities of those affected have not been revealed, and the report noted that “many” additional layoffs are said to have taken place.
The latest cuts follow a wave of roster departures roughly two months ago. WWE released several on-screen talents, including Aleister Black, Zelina Vega, and members of The Wyatt Sicks. Around the same time, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods reportedly opted to leave the company instead of accepting restructured contracts that would have reduced their salaries.
