Diego Hill signed with MLW after losing to KUSHIDA at MLW ‘Summer Of The Beasts’ 2025, who offered him a contract on behalf of Cesar Duran.
Hill has been a key player in the eastern independent scene, competing in DPW, AML, PPW, and other promotions.

Ahead of Thursday night’s MLW ‘Summer Of The Beasts’ event, KUSHIDA discussed his contract status, confirming that he is under contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling.
During a recent appearance on “The Takedown” podcast, KUSHIDA said,
“Yes, I have a New Japan contract, just one. But New Japan and MLW have a good relationship, so New Japan send me to MLW right now. And I can wrestle all over the world, so if CMLL wanted me and New Japan accept, I can go. New Japan send me to CMLL and MLW.”
