Michael Cole is seemingly enjoying not having Vince McMahon in his ear anymore, judging by the reference he made during last night’s SmackDown.
For decades, Cole took instructions from Vince McMahon, who reportedly yelled in his ear throughout WWE events.
During last night’s SmackDown in Anaheim, Cole called the action between Ricochet and Sami Zayn, and mentioned that the two first met in a match at PWG more than a decade ago.
Pro Wrestling Guerilla was founded in 2003, and has hosted many future WWE stars, including AJ Styles, Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins.
