Michael Cole Absent From WWE SmackDown, Jey Uso Tells Roman Reigns ‘No Yeet’

Roman Reigns came face-to-face with Jey Uso on this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, with Reigns saying he’s proud of his cousin.

In the opening segment of SmackDown, Jey confronted Solo Sikoa. Later in the show, Reigns and Jimmy Uso ran into Jey in the hallway.

Roman stopped Jey as he attempted to walk by and said that he and “they” were all proud of the reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion. Jey responded with, “Man, no yeet” and then walked off.

In other WWE SmackDown news, Michael Cole missed this week’s show. This marks only the third time he’s missed a WWE event since he signed with the company over 25 years ago.

Corey Graves announced that Cole was on a “special assignment,” although it is unknown what the real reason for his absence was. Wade Barrett filled in for Cole.
