Mara Sadé and Heather by Elegance put their rivalry aside after their Knockouts Television Championship tournament match, showing plenty of respect for each other following Sadé’s final appearance for TNA Wrestling.
The August 6 episode of TNA Wrestling’s Thursday Night iMPACT! featured Sadé and Heather battling for a spot in the semifinals of the ongoing Knockouts Television Championship tournament. Heather ultimately secured the victory, ending Sadé’s run in the tournament.
The match also marked Sadé’s final bout with TNA. The company previously confirmed that Sadé and Jody Threat were departing the promotion. Sadé was already no longer under contract but agreed to work the match with Heather despite having no obligation to do so.
Following the bout, Sadé took to Twitter to praise her former opponent, highlighting Heather’s creativity and work ethic while thanking her for being part of her final TNA match. She wrote,
“S/o @Heathereckless‼️Giving credit where it’s due- she’s INSANELY creative! INSANELY hard working! Thank you for my last match 🖤 #tnaimpact”
Heather responded by returning the praise and revealing that she has been a fan of Sadé since the beginning. She wrote,
“Stoppppp I’ll cry 😭😭😭 this is coming from you 🫵 one of THE MOST creative and hard working herself 🥹 I’ve been a fan since day one. Thank YOUUUU it was an honor and I’m gonna miss you!!! Till we meet again 🤝💗💗💗”
Sadé then responded with a simple message suggesting that their paths could cross again down the road,
“Till we meet again! 😌💗”
