Former WWE Superstar Mandy Rose has opened up on her career with the promotion and her shocking release last month.

Rose was cut from WWE after higher-ups learned of the content shared on her website, one day after losing the NXT Women’s Championship.

The ex-Superstar was earning far more on her website than she was in WWE, and earned $1 million in December 2022 via subscriptions.

Despite her controversial release, Rose told Tamron Hall that she still appreciates all that WWE did for her during her seven-year tenure.

“Because of everything that has happened since then, I honestly, everything happens for a reason. And I can’t even say I was wronged because I am so forever grateful for everything that the WWE has presented me with. So, I can’t sit here and say that I was wronged or not.”

Rose may be able to appreciate the opportunities WWE afforded her, but that has not made losing her job any easier.

“I’m hurt, yes, 100%. I’m hurt. I’m very hurt. Because no one wants to get that call that you’re being fired from any job, right? So I was very hurt and I was very disappointed. I was disappointed so much more because of, everything that I put into the business in just the last year and a half.”

Rose concluded on a positive note as she discussed her career with the promotion.

“At the end of the day. I love what I’ve done in the WWE. And I love that platform and what it presented me with, so I am forever grateful to WWE.”

Rose is currently serving a 90-day non-compete clause with WWE, though given how much she has earned online, questions have been raised as to whether she will return to wrestling.
