At Friday night’s TNA Final Resolution 2024 pay-per-view event, Eddie Edwards found himself in an unexpected and heated confrontation with a fan during his match against Matt and Jeff Hardy.
While competing alongside Brian Myers as part of The System in a Tables Match for the TNA Tag Team Championships, Edwards had an altercation with a fan sitting in the front row. The fan, initially exchanging words with Edwards, crossed a line when they slapped the former TNA World Champion.
Though the slap appeared to be lighthearted, Edwards made sure to respond with a much harder slap of his own. He slapped the fan in the face and forcefully shoved them back into their seat. TNA referees quickly intervened, escorting the fan out of the ringside area, while Edwards looked into the camera and smirked, boasting, “I’m still having fun.”
The match ended when Jeff Hardy performed a dive from the perch in the audience, crashing through Eddie Edwards, who was lying on a table.
