WWE Superstar Logan Paul is hardly impressed by the perceived injuries in soccer, believing that some players ‘sell’ being hurt better than wrestlers.

On Twitter, Paul shared his view on the 2026 FIFA World Cup and shared his thoughts on players who show off their ‘theater’ skills on the pitch.

“So much theatre. These guys sell being “hurt” better than some of my peers in the WWE.”

Strangely, Paul’s take about ‘selling’ came immediately after he praised soccer players for being “extremely durable” in a highly physical sport.

“Soccer is wildly physical. These players push, shove, and beat the shit out of each other & a lot of it goes unnoticed by the refs. You gotta be extremely durable to thrive on the pitch.”

Paul’s comments come after Team USA were eliminated from the FIFA World Cup with a 4-1 loss to Belgium, who will now advance to the quarter-finals.

Controversy surrounded the game as President Donald Trump interfered ahead of the match and spoke to the FIFA President about Folarin Balogun.

Trump’s efforts got Balogun’s red card lifted, meaning he was allowed to play in the Belgium game, the first time a national leader has interfered in this manner.

An international backlash to the U.S’s actions resulted in several nations rooting for Belgium and calls for FIFA President Gianni Infantino to resign.

Paul debuted in WWE in 2021 and made his in-ring debut the following year. He is a former United States Champion and RAW Tag Team Champion.
