Baron Corbin has explained why he wants to teach Lil Yachty a hard lesson inside the ring.

Last month, Corbin challenged Trick Williams’ associate to a match at Sunday Night’s Main Event, promising Trick another US Title shot if Yachty survives five minutes.

During a recent appearance on “Busted Open Radio,” Corbin said his goal is to prove not everyone, even famous names with huge followings, belongs in a ring.

He admitted Yachty is talented and funny, but warned it will be rough, as he plans to knock a diamond out of the rapper’s teeth.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On his mindset behind challenging Lil Yachty: “My mindset, number one, is to prove to the entire world that this job is not for everybody. That’s the fact. We get people with celebrity status, on YouTube or whatever it is, and they go, ‘I wanna be a WWE Superstar.’ I’m gonna show him very quickly that ‘No, not everybody can do that. You’re a hype man!’ I’ll give it to him; he’s funny; he’s got a lot of personality. I think people enjoy his music; I don’t know. If you offered me ten grand right now, I couldn’t name a song. It’s not for me; I’m a rock and roll guy. I like my metal and my folky music. I’m not saying he’s not talented because he probably has more Instagram followers than me, and I think he does arenas; I’m not sure.”

On what he plans to do to Lil Yachty at Sunday Night’s Main Event: “It’s gonna be bad. It’s not gonna be fun for him. He’s gonna immediately regret his decision. It’s gonna be like all those things like [****] around and find out. He’s gonna find out. People think like, ‘Oh, wrestling is entertainment,’ but when I crack him in the teeth and knock one of them giant diamonds out, I’m gonna put it in my pocket number one because my pants have pockets. I’m gonna keep it, I’m gonna pawn it and buy something cool, maybe a new watch. I think it’s gonna be a rude awakening for him. When Triple H goes, ‘Hey Yachty, do you ever wanna have a second match here in WWE?’ He’s gonna go, ‘No, I’m good, just leave me with my Diamond kendo stick and a microphone.’ I think that’s where he belongs.’”

Lex Luger has some genuinely happy news to share, coming right after a difficult period with his health earlier this year.

During a recent appearance on “Busted Open Radio,” the WWE Hall of Famer said he feels great in every way imaginable, confirming his weekly training sessions with Diamond Dallas Page (DDP) are still on.

When asked whether he has thought about modern options like stem cell therapy or peptide treatments, Luger admitted he hasn’t tried either yet but keeps an open mind, especially since he has heard about promising progress in that space.

This update means a lot given what Luger went through recently. Back in February, DDP revealed that Luger had been diagnosed with atrial fibrillation, a heart condition that causes an irregular beat and led doctors to put him on blood thinners. That medication meant DDP had to train him carefully, since even a small cut or tear could turn dangerous.

Things got harder around his WWE Hall of Fame induction too, when Luger fell while getting into his chair, an accident that kept him from walking across the stage that night.

Considering everything Luger has fought through, hearing him sound this upbeat feels like real progress, and DDP intends to keep pushing him forward.
