On this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Kevin Owens revealed that his mother is currently hospitalized and he’s been by her side over the past few days.
Owens, who will be teaming up with Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton to face off against The Bloodline at tonight’s Money in the Bank 2024 pay-per-view event, announced that his mother was rushed to the hospital earlier this week.
On Monday, Owens received a phone call from his father that said he needed to come home as soon as possible due to his mother being hospitalized. He immediately flew to Quebec, where he’s been the last five days.
Owens noted that while he could have stayed home, his mother would have been “pissed” if she heard he missed a show.
