Wrestling commentator/interviewer/ring announcer Kevin Kelly is set to take on a new role as the founder of his own promotion.
On Twitter, Kenny announced that his promotion American eXcellence Wrestling will have its first event on January 7, at the Historic Hamburg Fieldhouse in Pennsylvania.
Kelly also revealed the promotion’s logo in his tweet.

When asked if he will be commentating on the show, Kelly said no and that his focus is just on live events at this time.
He did suggest that he is willing to commentator once “things get cranked up.”
Kelly debuted in wrestling in 1991 as a ring announcer and joined the WWF in 1996 as a backstage interviewer.
After becoming a Raw commentator, Kelly would work as ROH’s lead play-by-play announcer from 2011 to 2017.
He has also worked as part of NJPW’s English commentary since 2015.
