With AEW WrestleDream 2026 scheduled to take place tomorrow, a new report has provided an update on the possibility of Kairi [Sane] appearing at the pay-per-view event. The former WWE star has reportedly been in discussions with AEW about joining the promotion since becoming a free agent in July.
According to a report from Fightful Select, AEW had not reached an agreement with Kairi as of this week. Previous reports indicated that several companies had expressed interest in signing her, including promotions outside the United States.
At this time, there is no update on how close AEW may be to finalizing a deal with Kairi or what details remain unresolved in the negotiations.
Kairi is scheduled to appear on Chris Jericho’s Rock ’N’ Wrestling Rager at Sea: Seventh Cruise of a Seventh Cruise in early November. An episode of AEW Collision was also taped during the cruise, although her involvement in the event does not necessarily mean she will appear on the broadcast.
For now, it remains unclear whether Kairi will make an appearance at WrestleDream 2026 or eventually sign with AEW.
