John Cena has admitted that he was totally in the wrong with previous insults about The Rock regarding the Brahma Bull staying away from wrestling.
Both before and during their feud in the early 2010s, Cena would often take shots at The Rock whose Hollywood career would keep him away from WWE for years.
On a recent edition of Logan Paul’s “IMPAULSIVE” podcast, Cena regretted his comments now that he has first-hand experience of how busy an acting career can be. He said,
“I spent years calling out The Rock saying man if you love the business you should be back, what a f****** hypocrite I am, I love the business, I should be back all the time but I’m not.”
The Rock defeated Cena in their ‘Once In A Lifetime’ encounter at WrestleMania 28. John would get his win back (and the WWE Championship) in their rematch the following year.
John Cena’s most recent match for WWE saw the 16-time WWE World Champion lose to Solo Sikoa at WWE Crown Jewel in November of last year.
