WWE is heading to Cardiff, Wales, for the first major show inside a UK stadium in 30 years with Clash At The Castle. One person who some thought could make their presence known at the upcoming event is John Cena.

During his appearance at Comic-Con Wales, Cena answered whether he would appear at Clash At The Castle next month. Unfortunately for many of his fans, he doesn’t seem like he will.

“I’ve been coming over to Cardiff for 15+ years.  I’m not going to be at Clash [at the Castle]. I wish I was.”

Cena not taking part in the big UK pay-per-view makes sense considering that he’s currently filming the second season of HBO Max’s Peacemaker. There are still rumors that he could return at WrestleMania next year to finally have his match against Theory.
