Joe Hendry will never forget his time as part of the 2025 men’s Royal Rumble match, which saw the TNA World Champion enter his first Royal Rumble.

Hendry was the #15 entry in the match and earned a massive pop from the crowd. He was eliminated by #16 entrant Roman Reigns.

On a recent edition of the “Wrestle Binge” podcast, Hendry discussed his time in the iconic WWE match-type. He said,

“Running down that ramp, it was a moment I will never forget. I was very happy for opportunity. I was excited and what was really cool was that I thought like everyone on both sides, in TNA and WWE were excited for me to have that moment as well. So that was really cool.”

Hendry’s role in the match marked another example of the WWE-TNA partnership which is set to last several years according to a statement by both companies.

Joe Hendry has yet to reappear in WWE though has shown interest in battling John Cena as part of the WWE heel’s retirement tour.
