Jim Ross Blasts WWE/AEW Tribalism After The Rock’s Video Tribute To Pac

The death of Benjamin ‘Pac’ Satterley has rocked the wrestling world, and unfortunately has sparked ‘tribalist’ arguments among wrestling fans.

Some fans have used Pac’s death to attack WWE for not doing as big a tribute to Satterley as AEW did, while others have attacked AEW with malicious claims.

One name rising above tribalism is Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, who has shared a tribute video to Pac, highlighting his time with WWE and AEW.

On a recent edition of his “Grilling JR” podcast, Jim Ross said that more should take Johnson’s example to heart. He said,

“How easy could it be… If everybody—you know, it’s like MLB playoffs are underway now, the Wild Card games, all that shit. Well, you don’t see the American League representatives and any National League representatives at each other’s throats.

“You just don’t see it because it’s unheard of. You don’t see it at all. So, wrestling—wrestling doesn’t do its own self that many favors at times.”

Pac wrestled for WWE for years as Adrian Neville/Neville. He held the NXT, NXT Tag Team, and WWE Cruiserweight Titles before his exit in 2018.

In 2019, Pac joined AEW, where he became the first AEW All-Atlantic Champion and was a multiple-time AEW Trios Champion.
