AEW may have only been around for a handful of years, but they’re already on the same level as WWE, at least according to Jeff Jarrett.

On New Year’s Day 2019, Cody Rhodes, the Young Bucks, and Kenny Omega announced the launch of AEW which has provided fans with an alternative to WWE’s product.

Jarrett, who was released as WWE’s Senior Vice-President of Live Events in August 2022, made his debut for AEW in November last year.

Speaking on Talk is Jericho, Double-J spoke about the impact AEW has already had and made a huge claim about the promotion’s presence outside the U.S.

“Once you get outside the United States, the AEW brand, believe it or not, is on par with WWE.”

AEW held its first non-U.S. event in October 2022 by heading north to Canada and will host an event in the United Kingdom at some point this year.
