Jeff Cobb has officially returned to the ring following his WWE release.
The former WWE star made a surprise appearance at PRODUCE Volume 3: Azucar, entering the show’s Royal Ranbo match. The bout marked Cobb’s first in-ring appearance since the April 24 episode of WWE SmackDown.
Cobb’s last WWE match saw him, competing under the name JC Mateo, team up with Tama Tonga in an unsuccessful challenge against Damian Priest and R-Truth for the WWE Tag Team Championships. Just over a week later, WWE released him from the company.
After signing with WWE in 2025, Cobb debuted at WWE Backlash and was immediately aligned with Solo Sikoa’s MFTs faction alongside Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Talla Tonga.
