WWE Hall of Famer John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield hopes Kevin Owens “walks into an open sewer” and misses WrestleMania 38 for insulting Texas.
In recent weeks, the former Universal Champion has mocked the Lone-star state, reportedly to set up a WrestleMania match with ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin.
In a video online, JBL, a native Texan, made his thoughts clear on the Prizefighter, saying:
“Kevin, WrestleMania, the stupendous two-night extravaganza, the greatest of all time. It’s gonna be in Dallas, the home of The Von Erichs, The Freebirds, Skandor Akbar, Gary Hart. We have a very simple message for you. We don’t want you, we don’t need you, we don’t like you, do not come to the great state of Texas. It won’t end well for you. I hope next week, in your match with Seth Freakin’ Rollins, you lose. I hope you’re watching this and you walk into an open sewer somewhere and get stuck there until mid-summer. I also hope that you have a terrible day.”
Owens is rumored to face Austin this April in what will be the Rattlesnake’s first match since 2003.
WrestleMania 38 will take place from April 2-3 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
