Jake Hager’s Eye Explodes In Latest Power Slap Loss (WATCH – GRAPHIC)

Former WWE and AEW star Jake Hager suffered a stoppage loss at Power Slap 23 on Thursday night.

Hager faced Johnny “The New Mexican Badass” Magna in a heavyweight bout at the United Supermarkets Arena in Lubbock, Texas.

The fight went into the third round before it was brought to an end by the ringside doctor. Hager was struck in the eye and began bleeding, prompting the doctor to examine him and determine that he could not continue.

Magna was subsequently awarded the victory by TKO via doctor stoppage in Round 3. Power Slap’s official results list the bout as a stoppage victory for Magna.

Power Slap 23 took place on September 17, marking the promotion’s first event in Texas. The card was headlined by two championship fights, with Ron “Wolverine” Bata defending the Light Heavyweight Championship against Logan “Kill Shot” Greenhalgh and Cole “Born Again” Young defending the Welterweight Championship against Andrew Provost.
