Any AEW star on the receiving end of a chair shot from TBS Champion Jade Cargill has CM Punk to blame.
Cargill remains undefeated since joining All Elite Wrestling and her reign as TBS Champion is now the longest reign of any title in the promotion’s history.
In an interview with Bootleg Kev, Cargill spoke about learning the basics of how to use a steel chair.
“No one gave me instructions other than Punk to show me how to use a chair and I had to perform this on live TV.”
Cargill added that she’s much better at using the classic wrestling weapon these days.
The AEW TBS Champion’s most recent title defense saw her retain against Skye Blue at the AEW Battle of the Belts V event earlier this month.
