Jade Cargill Makes Massive Botches On WWE SmackDown …. Yet Again

Jade Cargill and Charlotte Flair’s bitter rivalry finally reached its conclusion on this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown.

The two stars squared off in a singles match after months of animosity. Their feud began escalating on the June 19 edition of SmackDown, when Cargill attacked Flair backstage, damaging The Queen’s chances of advancing to the Queen of the Ring finals. Flair later retaliated at Night of Champions, where she prevented Cargill from defeating Tiffany Stratton for the Women’s United States Championship.

Their issues carried over to SummerSlam 2026, where Flair and Cargill competed alongside three other women in a ladder match to determine the new WWE Women’s Champion. Both entered the contest as favorites, but their rivalry ultimately cost them both. The two took each other out of the equation, allowing Chelsea Green to climb the ladder and capture the championship.

With their feud reaching its apparent final chapter on SmackDown, Cargill made her way to the ring alone, seemingly determined to prove that she did not need Michin or B-Fab in her corner to deal with Flair.

The match began with a display of strength before quickly spilling outside the ring. Once the action returned between the ropes, Flair and Cargill traded hard-hitting offense and came close to victory on several occasions.

Flair appeared to have the match won when she locked Cargill in the Figure Eight. However, Michin and B-Fab interfered, distracting the referee and forcing Flair to break the hold.

Their interference brought Alexa Bliss back to SmackDown. Bliss was not alone, as former NXT Women’s Champion Tatum Paxley also appeared, taking out Michin and B-Fab and preventing them from further influencing the match.

Flair and Cargill then returned their attention to one another and entered the closing stretch of the bout.

The final sequence was marred by several noticeable execution issues. Cargill attempted to hit a powerbomb but failed to connect properly. Flair followed with a Sister Abigail, though the timing between the two competitors appeared off.

The finish came when Flair attempted to deliver a Natural Selection from the top rope. Once again, the execution was not clean, with Cargill appearing to struggle with the timing of the move.

Despite the rough closing moments, the match seemingly brought the long-running feud between Charlotte Flair and Jade Cargill to an end.
