Kairi Sane is not facing any backstage heat in WWE despite her involvement in two matches that injured top Superstars.

The former member of Damage CTRL has been at the center of gossip following serious injuries to both Zoey Stark and Liv Morgan during recent matches on WWE RAW.

However, Fightful Select is reporting that there is no backlash directed at Kairi since both injuries were coincidental events, and the WWE locker room does not hold her responsible.

The first incident occurred on the May 19th episode of RAW, where Zoey sustained tears to her ACL, MCL, and meniscus from a botched missile dropkick attempt that involved Kairi. Stark underwent surgery and is expected to be sidelined for several months.

Just weeks later, Kairi competed against Morgan in a singles match on June 16. During this bout, a single-leg takedown caused Morgan to dislocate her shoulder, halting the match completely. Morgan also had to have surgery and is currently sidelined.

Despite the unfortunate timing of these incidents, the general belief backstage is that Kairi is not to blame and that both injuries were accidental.

Kairi was reportedly very distressed and worried after both matches.

The report states, “There is zero heat whatsoever. Zoey’s was an accident that happened when she jumped off the top rope. Liv’s was a freak accident on a basic move. Kairi was very concerned backstage.”
