An Intercontinental Championship match has been added to the lineup for WWE Money in the Bank 2025 after an incident that transpired at Worlds Collide.
Following the opening six-man tag team bout (where Octagon Jr., Aero Star, and Mr. Iguana defeated Lince Dorado and LWO’s Cruz Del Toro and Dragon Lee), Dirty Domink Mysterio and Liv Morgan—who were ringside to watch the match—decided to grab a microphone and steal the moment.
Dom called Rey Mysterio a deadbeat, and this upset Octagon, who pulled Dom over the security barricade, sparking a fight between the two.
After they were separated, Dom got the microphone again and challenged Octagon to a match later today at Money in the Bank, saying he’d make sure to put the Intercontinental Championship on the line.
