The Men’s WWE EVOLVE Championship has its first title-holder after the inaugural championship Fatal 4-Way match took place on tonight’s episode of WWE EVOLVE.
Edris Enofe, Keanu Carver, Jackson Drake and “Super” Sean Legacy fought for the honor of being the first-ever champion of the purple brand.
In order of elimination, Edris Enofe was taken out first by Keanu Carver, who then fell victim to having both Sean Legacy and Jackson Drake stacked on top of him. Finally, Drake scored the last pin over Legacy, shocking himself and likely a good portion of the audience.
Drake was presented with the championship belt by Stevie Turner and Je’Von Evans, who has been friends with Drake for a long time, apparently, which would explain their embrace despite facing each other on NXT last night.
As far as next week is concerned, Wes Lee will be in action against Cappuccino Jones, Lince Dorado will be in action, and It’s Gal will face Troy Yearwood.
