‘Heavy Restrictions’ Imposed On Bryan Danielson Ahead Of AEW All In 2024

Bryan Danielson will challenge Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship in the main event of AEW All In 2024. However, it appears that Danielson will enter the marquee title match with some injuries.

The match was set up following Danielson’s victory in the Owen Hart Foundation men’s tournament, where he emerged victorious over Hangman Page in the finals.

Danielson previously announced that he would be scaling back his full-time wrestling commitments this year, and his current wrestling contract expires in a few days.

Danielson recently noted that AEW doctor Doc Sampson has advised against him participating in matches prior to AEW All In 2024.

Fightful Select has shared an update on the situation. According to the report, “there had been some heavy restrictions put on him by AEW doctors leading into the main event at All In.”

While The American Dragon is banged up, the plan has been to get him to the All In bout, “although they’ve prevented him from participating in some things that were originally planned along the way.”

The current plan is for Danielson to remain with AEW beyond August 1, which is when his contract expires.
