Hank & Tank Win NXT Tag Team Gauntlet, Will Face Fraxiom At WWE Stand & Deliver

On the go-home show of NXT prior to WWE Stand and Deliver, there was a tag team gauntlet match to determine who would face Fraxiom for the NXT Tag Team Championship at the premium live event taking place this Saturday afternoon.

Hank Walker and Tank Ledger first beat Tyriek Igwe and Tyson Dupont. Next up were The Culling’s Brooks Jensen and Niko Vance, who also lost to Hank and Tank. No Quarter Catch Crew (Myles Borne and Tavion Heights) followed suit, and ultimately, Josh Briggs & Yoshiki Inamura also ended up losing. The underdogs not only managed to score the upset, but did so by going the distance, much like Lyra Valkyria and Bayley winning their tag team gauntlet match on last Friday night’s episode of SmackDown.

Axiom and Nathan Frazer are in their second runs with the titles and going on 227+ days (353+ for their combined reigns), having won the belts at No Mercy on September 1, 2024.

• Triple Threat or Fatal 4-Way Tag Team No. 1 Contenders’ Match: The Meta-Girls (Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson) vs. Gigi Dolin & Tatum Paxley vs. Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Jacy Jayne) vs. possibly Roxanne Perez & TBD
