Current and soon-to-be former WWE employee Paige could soon be working for Impact Wrestling if Gail Kim gets her way.
Last week, Paige announced that her contract with WWE will end on July 7th, bringing her eleven years with the company to an end.
Paige has said that she tried to keep some kind of role with WWE but that WWE opted not to re-sign her to a new deal.
Speaking to Sescoops, Kim, who now works as a producer for Impact, said that Paige would be given a great opportunity if she signs with the veteran promotion. She said,
“I have nothing but respect for her in and outside of the ring. And hey, if she wants to come over to IMPACT Wrestling I feel like the door is open. So, come on over, Paige!”
Paige was forced to retire in 2018 due to neck injuries but has been confident in recent years that she will wrestle again.
Paige and Kim are both inaugural champions (the first NXT Women’s Champion and first Impact Knockouts Champion) and both won titles during their first nights on WWE’s main roster.
