Former WWE Superstar Fred Rosser could be next to return to the company after having talks regarding a comeback.

Rosser, known in WWE as Darren Young, made his on-screen debut in 2010 as part of the original NXT and was later part of the Nexus.

After the group disbanded, Young joined Titus O’Neil as the Prime Time Players and is a former WWE Tag Team Champion.

During a recent interview with Under The Ring, Rosser admitted to having talks with WWE.

“[I’m] always talking to WWE about what more can I do, whether it’s coaching or coming back to ‘NXT’ because it’s almost like nostalgia.

“It’s been over ten years since I was on ‘NXT.’ Just imagine me coming to ‘NXT’ with the Strong Openweight Champion to defend it.”

In January 2017, Rosser suffered an arm injury and was released from WWE in October of that same year.

Rosser is currently signed to NJPW where he is in his first reign as NJPW Strong Openweight Champion.
